Woolwich Service Users Project - Navillus Charity Partner For 2024

This Christmas, Navillus is proud to support the Woolwich Service Users Project (WSUP), a local charity that is making a significant impact in our community within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Their commitment to assisting individuals facing challenges such as poverty, homelessness, and addiction makes them a vital lifeline for those in need.

We first met Jas and Lucy from their team at our fantastic local monthly business networking group, Greenwich-Connect. This is where we collaborate with local businesses, charities and organisations who in turn, provide us with great resources and a dynamic support network.  

Partnering with our customers during the festive season has become an important tradition for us. Now in its fifth year, this initiative allows us to support our charitable organisations who inspire us with their dedication and leadership. WSUP is a shining example, and we are grateful to be able to play a small part in supporting their work.

What the WSUP does

The Woolwich Service Users Project (WSUP) is a grassroots charity dedicated to helping individuals in the community confront some of life’s toughest challenges. They provide advice and support sessions covering healthcare, housing, employment, skills training, addiction recovery, debt management, and mental health.

Additionally, they promote well-being through activities like yoga and meditation, aiming to enhance the overall quality of life for their guests.

WSUP offers essential services through its welcoming drop-in center, providing hot meals, showers, haircuts, laundry facilities, and a clothing bank in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Open to all, the charity ensures that anyone in need has access to both practical and emotional support.

How we're supporting them

As part of our ongoing support, we have provided WSUP this year with custom branded clothing and drinkware. As our chosen charity for 2024 we then donate the full cost of their orders back to them to help further their important work. It's that simple, they supported Navillus and we returned the favour with a donation back of £963.00!

Additionally, we have also donated 200 thermal bottles that we hope will be of practical help to those in need this winter.
