A Gap in the Market

We already offer a huge range of promo footballs: from official match-quality models, down through the full range of sizes, indoor footballs, mini footballs, and kids balls. But up until recently it's been surprisingly difficult to find high quality balls made using recycled materials. 

At last, thanks to some innovative people working at our most forward-looking suppliers, that situation has finally started to change. Now we can offer a new, greener range of balls that utilise recycled materials but match the performance of traditionally-made footballs in every way.

Putting Waste Offside

Usually high-end match-quality balls are made with polyurethane, because of its durability and similarity to the leather used in traditional footballs; whereas more budget-friendly balls are made from practical and economical PVC. But both PU and PVC are man-materials derived from fossil fuels, and up until recently efficiently recycling them has been challenging.

Now we've sourced footballs made from recycled versions of those very same materials. These greener, recycled balls are almost indistinguishable to balls made virgin materials (to the untrained eye at least) and crucially they are similar in price too.

A Clearly Greener Pitch

We've also found an innovative selection of balls that are made with more unusual recycled materials such as recycled car tyres, and others made from more-sustainable natural materials like jute, natural rubber and wood. They don't look like traditional balls it's true, but if you want to make a statement about your brand's commitment to sustainability then they provide an eye-catching and unmistakeable solution.

The Big Players

Sports giant Nike have invested a lot of time and effort in developing a ball made from waste generated at their own factories. The Nike Next Nature Football is a wild looking mini-sized ball made from recycled yarn trimmings and airbags from Air Max trainer production. It carries the iconic Swoosh alongside your bespoke print design.
